This is Why I’m Doing This

                                This past week has been very rough for me and my family. I’m not going to go into details about everything, but just know it’s truly been hell! My son and I recently got into a car accident. Thank God we are okay, and so is the other driver, but my car isn’t. She took a beating 😢. The worst part is my car insurance doesn’t cover collision damage, so I have to pay out of pocket for all the damage. If the other driver is found at fault for the collision, he will pay. My bumper was barely hanging on, so I could not drive my car. I decided I should rent a car to get my kid to school and myself to work. But, of course, my broke self didn’t have the money to pay for all of this, so I had to borrow money.  When I went to pick up the rental car, I was informed that, due to my low credit score, they couldn’t rent me the car unless I put it on a credit card. My Path to Success: Setting Goals

           In the pursuit of achieving financial freedom I have decided to set some goals for myself and to create a game plan. With clear goals in place I can break down my game plan into smaller steps in order to take strides towards my overall goal. I feel like setting goals also gives me a sense of direction and purpose.       My overall goal is to be rich. To me being rich consists of generational wealth and  financial stability. I know everyone has different definitions of what financial stability and generational wealth look like.
